If you’ve ever cared for a loved one or are currently caring for someone in need of assistance, you know that support for the ones who care is limited. Sandwiched KC was founded in 2018 with the hopes of offering more to local family caregivers.
Our goal is to change that. With a mission of local support & shared wisdom, we want to make sure that all family caregivers have access to high quality:
- information to navigate and survive their caregiving journeys,
- connections with fellow family caregivers so they feel they’re not alone
- services and supports if that is what they choose
- opportunities to practice and explore self-care.
Recently, Sandwiched KC received its 501c3 determination letter from the IRS. This means that donors can deduct contributions they make to our organization under IRC Section 170. We’re also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts.
