Present at the Heartland Caregiving Conference
November 7, 2026 | NKC Health
Sandwiched KC invites you to submit a presentation for the 2026 Heartland Caregiving Conference.
We are looking for presentations on topics like:
- Caregiving success strategies (ie: assisting with specific hands-on tasks like bathing, feeding, toileting; making home modifications; using technology, etc.)
- Self-care, mental health, and wellness for family caregivers
- Flexible work opportunities while caregiving
- Preparing for end of life and coping with grief
- Respite strategies
- Navigating older adult and/or disability services, accessible housing, aging in place, legal issues, and healthcare
Presentations should be no longer than 20 minutes with 10-minutes for questions. All presentations must include presenters with family caregiving experience.
This is a conference for family caregivers. Presentations should be informative, interactive, and, most importantly, useful to someone who is currently providing care to a loved one. We don’t want findings or research, we want people to come and share information that will help people survive caregiving. There will be no professional track at this event.
Please note: If you plan to stay for the entire day and you are not a sponsor or vendor, you must register.
Also note: We do not have funding to pay presenters.
