About the Event
As caregivers, we all know how easy it is to end up with closets or cabinets full of supplies we no longer need… maybe a brand changed, needs shifted, or a caregiving mission ended. Instead of letting those items go to waste, why not pass them along to someone who can use them?
The Caregiver Closet is a community swap event where family caregivers can bring new or gently used supplies and equipment to share, trade, or donate. Whether you have extra incontinence products, unopened hygiene items, or medical equipment collecting dust, this is your chance to clear space and help another family in the process.
You don’t have to bring anything to participate… everyone is welcome to come browse, connect, and take what they need. Think of it as a free, feel-good way to recycle care supplies while building community.
We’ll make sure any leftover items find a home through local partners who support families and individuals in need.

Join us for an afternoon of sharing, connection, and support among people who get it.
Accepted Items
New or gently used (clean, safe, and unexpired):
- Incontinence supplies (pads, briefs, wipes, bed protectors)
- Hygiene items (dry shampoo, body wipes, gloves, soap, lotion)
- Wound care items (bandages, gauze, gloves, alcohol wipes)
- Mobility and adaptive equipment (walkers, light weight wheelchairs, commodes, toilet risers, canes, shower chairs)
- Daily care tools (pill organizers, reachers, cushions)
- Non-expired nutritional supplements (Ensure, Boost)
Not accepted:
- Prescription medications
- Expired items
- Damaged or unsanitary products
- Hospital beds
- Motorized scooters or wheelchairs

We need your help to make this swap happen!
We need all hands on deck to set up, direct traffic, unload and distribute items, welcome and sign in guests, and clean up afterwards. Volunteers of all ages are welcome!
