We’re excited to share Sandwiched KC’s 2025 Annual Report, a snapshot of a year filled with growth, connection, and continued commitment to family caregivers across the Kansas City metro.

In 2025, Sandwiched KC celebrated seven years of creating opportunities for family caregivers to find shared wisdom and local support. It was also our most active year yet.

We expanded our virtual caregiver support groups, launched in-person groups for the first time through a new partnership with Turning Point at The University of Kansas Health System, and hosted our largest Heartland Caregiving Conference, welcoming 90 family caregivers and dozens of community partners.

This year also brought meaningful new offerings, including the release of the second edition of the Kansas City Caregiver Resource Guide, with more than 1,700 copies distributed throughout the metro area.

We hosted our first caregiver forum, Voices of Care, in partnership with Gilda’s Club Kansas City, creating space for honest conversation led by caregivers themselves. And yes… we even co-created a caregiving anthem.

None of this work happens in isolation. Our 2025 Annual Report reflects the caregivers who continue to show up for themselves and their loved ones, the partners who walk alongside us, and the donors and sponsors who make this work possible.

We invite you to read the full report to learn more about what we accomplished together in 2025 and how Sandwiched KC continues to support family caregivers in our community.
