MCPL has a little something for everyone – entertainment and education through books/movies/music; connection with community resources through its online databases; and a variety of events both virtual and in-person for all ages and interests!

Kansas Legal Services
Kansas Legal Services is a non-profit law firm and community education organization helping low and moderate income people in Kansas. Kansas Legal Services visits locations in both Wyandotte and Leavenworth Counties on a regular basis. Guardians/Conservators, Adult Abuse/Exploitation, Simple Wills, Division of Assets, Patient Rights, Power of Attorney and Living Wills are all services that Kansas Legal Services may provide.

State Health Insurance Assistance Programs are certified by the federal and state government to provide free, unbiased, and confidential (private) Medicare services. SHIPs are not insurance companies. SHIPs do not sell anything or charge for their services.
SHIP programs have volunteer counselors and Community Partners who provide local Medicare counseling in their communities. Volunteers receive extensive training to become certified Medicare counselors and regularly receive updates and training
