Beginning February 2025, Sandwiched KC to offer TWO weekly virtual caregiver support groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our virtual caregiver support groups are open to those helping parents, grandparents, spouses, siblings, and anyone they consider family in the Kansas City Metro.  They are are a safe place to connect with others, discuss the challenges of caregiving and learn about resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;ve been hosting virtual caregiver support groups since 2018, because we know that it takes time and energy (which are your most precious resources) to a) get ready, b) travel across town, and c) meet face-to-face with a bunch of strangers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We began hosting our virtual support groups once a month, but Sandwiched has grown so much that we began hosting them weekly in summer of 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caregiving is a demanding role, but you don\u2019t have to navigate it alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Join one of our weekly virtual caregiver support groups to share experiences, access resources, and find encouragement from others who understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Weekly Caregiver Support Groups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thursdays at 8:00pm<br><\/strong>Register in advance at <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/thursdaysandwiched\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/thursdaysandwiched<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fridays at 10:00am<br><\/strong>Register in advance at <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/fridaysandwiched\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/fridaysandwiched<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/Find out more about our support groups  at https:\/\/sandwichedkc.com\/support\/caregiver-support-group-meetings\/\">Find out more about our support groups<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New!
