You\u2019ll also learn how Sandwiched KC helps people in caregiving roles connect with local support, shared wisdom, and a community that truly understands.<\/p>\n

Family caregivers are the invisible backbone of our communities… quietly juggling work, family, and care for aging or ill loved ones, often without recognition or support. In this session, Sandwiched KC shares insights from the latest Caregiving in the U.S. 2025 report, explore what it truly means to be \u201csandwiched,\u201d and discuss practical ways human and senior service professionals can better support caregivers.<\/p>\n
Participants will learn how to identify caregivers within their existing programs, design flexible and accessible offerings (including on-demand and after-hours options), and build partnerships that strengthen family and community wellbeing.
